Patagonia, one of my favorite brands, has started a new blog called The Cleanest Line. Here's what they have to say about it:
Build the best product, do no unnecessary harm, use business to inspire and implement solutions to the environmental crisis.
– Patagonia's Mission StatementThe goal of The Cleanest Line is to further Patagonia's mission by encouraging dialogue about the products we build, the sports we love and the environmental issues we’re concerned about. By talking openly about the products we build, Patagonia users can help us achieve ever greater standards of quality and functionality. By spreading the word about specific environmental issues, we can increase awareness and take action as quickly as possible. By sharing field reports, we can inspire one another to keep experiencing the natural wonders of our precious planet. And like any good conversation, there's always the possibility for pranksters and poets to direct the conversation towards territories lacking any seriousness whatsoever.
What are you doing to encourage dialogue with your customers?
F1XYPb Kudos to you! I hadn't thought of that!

/ I must wonder if Reverend Billy and the STOP Shopping Now Choir have been to Patagonia (?)I can't imniage that this fascist run country would EVER consider putting a SANE message like this out to the mindless consumers hell, they' have spent billions over the years manipulating and programing the people to consume NO-MATTER-WHAT!! A mainstream message like this would be the ultimate gift, right up there with Population sanity, for Mother Earth.thanks for sharing this message which is such a threat to corporate America.

I have seen and have been interviewed by the AF Project Blue Book (back in the day) about a UFO sntghiig over Okinawa, Japan in 1966. THere was a Nuke Sub in Naha Harbour at the time and aircraft were scrambled to intercept. They never made it as the object speed off at a fantastic rate straight up into the sky and out of sight. There was some missing time and a rather bad reaction on my part (panic and hysterics, etc) but I don't claim any abduction or that sort of thing. The object though is well documented and the Lt. who interviewed me the next day admitted to having something on their radar, but God only know's what it was.
