Spark has been consuming me lately. I just edited an interview with Matt Jacobson, VP of quiksilver Entertainment. He said something that made a lot of sense, "The era of bullies and assholes (in business) is over." I agree. It does seem like we are entering into a new, more holistic era in buisness where everybody has the opportunity to participate and co-create.
Speaking of participating and co-creating, thanks everyone for being involved in my little Audible expirement. We need to do it more often. Anybody have an idea for a new contest I can host?
Here's a contest:
1. Readers select the brand they think gives the best customer service.
2. Send a standard complaint email to all of them.
3. Post the responses and the response times, and rate them 1-10 on both.
4. The person who recommended the brand with the best overall score in both wins a signed copy.
We'll call it, "Battle of the Service Stars."

Thanks, Aaron. That's a good idea. BTW, I like your new blog design!

Thanks. I've been inspired by your and your Brandshift brethren! That, and Lance at Izze kept giving me shit for lack of blogging.
Really appreciate your blog, and looking forward to the new book. Party at Mateo again?
